Am I doing Data Recovery on a Formatted Hard Drive Right?
I installed Windows Vista on separate partition from my existing OS and it seem to had formatted the drive surrounded by which i had my OS so I lost adjectives the files on there. I moved out the drive untouched and used data recovery surrounded by which i found a lot of the files but the files dont hold their original name and I cant get the individual folders that the files belonged to. Is this freshly because of the software I used or is this normal for adjectives other kinds of information recovery programs? Can someone tell me please

I'm pretty sure that is ordinary. The recovery just finds remnants of the files, so you'll probably take a lot of incomplete/corrupt files, missing files, etc.
It's approaching when you write something on a pad of newspaper, and then erase it. Sometimes you can jump back and read the imprints your writing departed to see some of what was written. Recovery programs work the exact same bearing. That's why secure deletion programs (like those used by the government) write over duplicate place with all over the place information a bunch of times to make it impossible to dance and read the imprints that are left and recover information.
