Data recovery from corrupted dvd?
i brought this 4.7gb moser baer only dvd,not re-writable,and after putting 1.25 gb of background,one day when i put some more onto it(a 60 mb database of gta sa mods and songs),the copy operation hanged.
i shutdown the workstation by switching the ups....after turning on,i checked the dvd again,found in properties used space-0 bytes,and total space- 0 bytes
i later formatted it-it then showed free space of 3.25 gb out of total of 4.7 gb
very soon i want my data support

If I did, after you first burned 1.25 GB to disk, then another time ruined to burn a further 60MB.
If that is right, later the reason the second attempt bungled is in your own query; in that you read aloud its not a re-writable DVD. Hence you can only burn once to the DVD and never again.
Now you voice you formatted the disk? Theoretically that is impracticable if it cannot be re-written; however something appears to have remove your facts index from the DVD as you say you cannot display its content.
The only time this have ever happened to me be with a re-writable compact disc where I burned multiple sessions to it which are usually call Joilettes
If this is what you have conduct operations to do, then it turns out your DVD is re-writable and to panorama individual burn sessions you need to insert the DVD into player, next open My Computer and right click on the DVD payer deity and select MOUNT then select the Joilette (or session) you craving to view.

It's impossible to recover information from a formated DVD as far as I know.
If it was a memory card or a rock-hard drive there be still a chance.
