Data Recovery?
My harddisk crashed few days ago due to which I lost my all notes. Although after re-installation it is working but it has developed masses bad sector and hence it may crash again. My concern is the recovery of notes. Can anyone tell me roughly good information recovery software? particularly:
- software which allows scan for specific portions of parttion so that recovery process can be carried out within stages since it takes amazingly long time to scan whole divider specially when there are fruitless sectors?
- Also allow to choose specific files (by types, given name, size etc) to search?

It was better if you have tried file recovery previously doing reinstallation because files get overwritten. Best opening of using file recovery on a formatted unyielding disk is by connecting it as a slave disk and trying recovery by the file recovery software installed on another rugged disk.

A GREAT idea would to be to buy a current hard drive and to generate this hard drive your current slave drive, when you bring back Windows back up ,you could simply only just open up this drive within my computer and back up the background from there. Good luck!
