Help, Can not detect files/data after Operating System recovery.?
I have basically reinstalled the operating system using the default recovery option on my Compaq Presario V5110EU which is running XP SP2, its working great now, the merely problem i have is i can not find my files from previously i reinstalled, these are mostly media files for itunes, i did not reformat and i know they are still here as they are using memory on the C drive, but when i uncap C i can not find the files, i have checked hiddden files and folders but no luck, any opinion where they could be hiding? Any serve in solving this would be greatly appreciated!

Running Operation System Recovery will erase adjectives previous files and data.
It is recommended that you back-up adjectives files before running OS Recovery.
If your key concern is the iTune files. You should be able to upload them from your iPod.

When you use the disaster recovery option on your Compaq, it wipe out everything on your hard drive. They are gone.
