Hard Drive Data Recovery, can you abet?
I've been trying to win some files off a insensible hard disk (i.e. one that reports RAW filesystem), using the background recovery software from http://www.datadoctor.in/. Unfortunately almost all files enjoy failed to be recovered properly, even though the software have detected the structure of the directories, and the file name. The only files that come across to work are almost entirely within closure files.
Have I been doing something wrong?
Are at hand any alternative pieces of free software that would do a better job?

Don't use the drive have problems for creating files. I used in yesteryear using R-studio tools. They are good for recovering facts.
I reccommend Recuva (pronounced "recover"), it is a freeware Windows utility to restore files that have be accidentally deleted from your computer. This includes files empty from the Recycle bin as well as descriptions and other files that have be deleted by user error from digital camera memory cards or MP3 players. It will even bring pay for files that have be deleted by bugs, crashes and virus!

How much are you looking to spend and is this data critical for you to carry back? The solely software I have used that have worked every time on a failed strong drive or raid, is Easy Recovery Professional by OnTrack. It is not cheap, as an individual license costs $499. They do enjoy cheaper versions, but are fixed to how many files you can recover within one pass.
