Take the drive out of the computer and connect it to another computer. If the drive is still polite then it should show up as another drive on the PC. You will be capable of transfer the information that way.

if it's power-driven ( as if there is a problem next to the H.D board or magnetic disks ... )

I'd try to access it from another computer. There could be something wrong with your window installation but the files may easily be recoverable of late be connecting it to another pc and copying the files.
