What's the best FREE Data Recovery Software?

A "CiberBeast" A.K.A. My girlfriend's father erased all the pictures from my camera, i downloaded a program but contained by only shows me the pictures and say that i have to settle to retrieve them. Is there a free software to recover background from a flash drive and retrieve them for free?

I've used this program to recover lots and lots of pictures from floppy disks (from way hindmost when they actually put those things surrounded by cameras and stored pictures on them! no kidding! 640x480! LOL :) The disks have been sitting around for years and the database systems on most of them had degraded (dumb unshielded captivating storage) Anyway, here it is:
