Data Recovery?

So, my hard drive on my laptop died. It's doing the clicking/not spinning up entry. I tried the whole freezer item, yada yada...basically, I know it's a power-driven thing and the individual hope I have is to dance to a data recovery service and achieve them to take out the information plates and put them in a foreign drive and recover the data. That said...I know that this process is expensive, but my information is important, and I hold money. I am wondering just how expensive it is. I looked into it, saw some prices by the hour, and some "as low as !" prices, but does anyone own any "real" quotes? And if my hard drive is 80 GB and I merely need perchance 5 GB recovered, will it cost less than getting the undamaged 80 recovered?
Answers:
If it's clicking you can probably expect to spend over $1000 (US). Most places will give you a free quote up to that time doing the work. My company uses a place called CBL facts recovery. Check out the website. http://www.cbltech.com
Amount of gb's does play a part contained by the price but more than anything, the actual attempt and there nouns of doing it is where it costs. What kindly of files that are being retrieved play a big quantity too.
