Can I put vista recovery disk on usb thumb drive?
CD-rom dosen't work on my laptop and need to try to restart using recovery disk. I see leeway to restart by usb ?

If you can find a USB thumb drive big plenty to hold everything.
It would be better to find or borrow an external CD drive.
