How do i clear my laptop using a system recovery disk 10 points best answer and thumbs up!! HELP?
i dont have a virus i basically want 2 get rid of everything! (except for windows) but i don't know how. My laptop is a advent 6301. I dont know anything something like computers, i just want to start over again next to just the brass tacks that come with any laptop. How do i do this using a system recovery disk. oh, is within a chance that i will muck up my laptop by doing this? Please support

Put Spyware Doctor on a disk. Then insert your recovery disk.
This will restore your computer to the way it be when you got it tentative.
Then install Spyware Doctor off the backup disk you made of it.

create a recovery disc. insert recovery disc to cd rom drive and reboot. your laptop should boot from the recovery disc. basically follow the instructions. its pretty simple. you cant go wrong beside that.
