How can I find a Windows XP Media Edition recovery disk?
Im not to tech savy and I installed what I thought was a window xp disk onto my hpdv6000 which had window xp media edition on it. Now my computer is running sluggish, zilch looks right, and im unable to access my recovery dividing wall. Is there a instrument for me to get one of these disks? I contacted HP but they told nearby was zilch they could do for me.

If you have installed Windows XP and if computer is sluggish, later probably you have not installed the drivers for the components. Are installing the Operating System (XP), you inevitability to install Chipset, audio, video, network, modem and other drivers. If you hold not got the recovery discs, I'm sure you should hold got the disc for drivers and other applications. Use after to install the install all the drivers and software. This should set things contained by order.

Order the recovery Cd set from HP customer service by model and serial number. http://www.hp.com
