Hp recovery/boot disk/cd?
hey! i have a hp dv9100. its powers on impeccably but has some issues w/ the operation system at boot up. There are no recovery or OS CD's that come w/ this element. so what should i do? thank you!

There is a program on them that allows you to make a recovery disc. However, you are singular allowed to make one. It's a discomfort in the a$$ every time I needed to reinstall my system. "Oh, where on earth did I place that disc?"
This is not a commercial, but Dell are very perfect at giving out the recovery discs. Bought a machine from Dell, and I'm never going put a bet on to HP. Source(s): I used own a HP
sell it and bring an apple mac with an intel cpu :) That or christen HP and request a recovery disc explaining that you did not get a recovery disc - short of that shift to where you purchased it and request a recovery disc as hep may convey you the same.
If not a soul will then it will be a armour of buying a new OS - short of that gain an apple mac as per my first request.
It probably has a recovery hedge that you access at the first screen by pressing F10 or Fsomething...

Should be recovery files surrounded by a partition on the HDD. If in that isn't contact HP and request one
