I cannot attain the Toshiba recovery disks to work contained by my software crashed system. Directions read aloud to hold the C?
I hold the C while starting the system but it is not doing the recovery. What else can I do to get the system to reformat my strong drive?

go into bios and exchange the boot up to the D drive.
