How do I create an Xp recovery disk?

My computer wont boot windows, I am on my laptop, and want to create a recovery disk from my laptop window system and then fix the problem within xp. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

The usual practice is to create the recovery disk set *before* your system crashes... ideally, as soon as you procure it out of the box..... Disks created on your laptop might work on your desktop, but you may also find that product-specific files, etc, may be missing, especially if they're different brands.

Your best bet may be to get an off-the-shelf installation gear for XP, and start over.... although, you may be able to bring back a recovery disk from the original inventor.
