Acer 6920G recovery disk?

Hey, I got a Aspire 6920G and considered necessary to make a DVD for the factory defaulting. The size was something similar to 8.5GB or something but I burnt it to the DVD anyway. Now through the burning process it go to 100% then started the verify process, at around 80% or something it came up next to Error code 204 failed, something to use a blank DVD. I put the dvd contained by the PC to see if it had adjectives anything and it did, but I dont know if everything was adjectives.
How can I not be able to put a factory defaulting do a DVD?!
