Recovery d: knotty disk drive?

i wanted to do a backup of my system to a dvd but i accidently
did the backup to my (D) drive.how do i erase the the backup from my (D) drive ?
Answers:
delete it from d and copy again on a dvd
A little information would relief. Is the your "D" drive another hard drive? Is it another separator on the same frozen drive? How much space does your backup require?
Everyones parameters are different, can you be a bit more specific on what your "D" drive is? i.e. CD-Rom, removable, etc.
Well if your "D" have the backup on it, can't you just erase it. Like a put emphasis on and delete the backup, assuming it was placed surrounded by a separate folder, though I wouldn't recommend a re-format if you got crucial stuff on the drive.
go to your window explorer and just press the delete button or right click and say aloud delete.
erase or do a quick format on it.
