Sony Vgn-38EW recovery disk?
My friend has a short time ago bought above notebook. It said 'read user guide before you turn on' but when she ring Sony to say guide be missing, they said the user guide needed to be downloaded online (which couldn't be done without turning point on.)
I downloaded the user guide and sent it to her but she rings to say she's have trouble creating the recovery disk and is unhappy using the computer until he have managed to create this. (She's usually a pretty logical party so is there some covert here?). Please help!

Hello, you really dont want to read user guide if you dont have any, nil would go wrong, user guide is included near your computer (I also didn't receive any user's guide, most of manufacturers include user's guide or manual a part of your computer implication you have to turn your computer on first and freshly search "vaio support" or "Vaio Guide" etc.
To build recovery disks:
Go to control panel, and click on "Vaio Recovery", choose top option "creat recovery disks". Try to use DVD, you may entail only two DVDs or 20 Cds. It would administer you step by step guide which is very natural to follow(enter your country and model number and search for your question):
