Help restoring my c omputer to a spot on date, but dont enjoy the recovery disk, can it be done?

I tried installing a digital camera on my computer, now it wont boot, is nearby anyway to reboot and get my computer backbone before I installed that into it, in need a recovery disk?
Press F8 as soon as you push the power button to on, and hold it until it beeps. This should bring you to a windowpane that has Safe Mode tabled as one of the options. Click on it. Just answer yes to the question,(yes you're sure, and yes ya-da,ya-da). When this window loads, press Start>Control Panel>Performance and Maintenance>and surrounded by the top left corner System Restore. Click on a date within the calendar, that looks like it's within bold numbers, to a date before you installed the camera software, sit backbone, everything should be cool!
Start the computer in out of danger mode Boot and tap the f8 knob until you reach the undisruptive mode screen. Remove the camera software using Control panel/add remove programs. Reboot the computer. If you can't manage safe mode. You've really done a opportunity installing that software and I can't help any more.

You must supply more information when you ask these questions. Maybe the camera software is for an XP computer and your computer is elder. Maybe the opposite. We're adjectives just guessing and that doen't help out anyone. Always tell us the OS, camera brand, how outmoded, anything else that may have happen ie error messages during install. etc.

Chickster below is right, but the restore function may NOT be set on your computer. I find it's turned of on 80% of all computers.
"> If you own Windows XP, they're are things called Restore Points that you could revert stern to.

You'd have to find a route to get your computer started, though.

[The Recovery Points will be at: Start > Help & Support > Undo Changes near System Restore]

Good Luck.
If you can get into not dangerous mode (the instructions above), you can also use System Restore (start - accessories - system tools - system restore) and select a restore point prior to the camera installation.
