Windows Vista Home Premium Recovery Disk?

Hi,

I have not long purchased a new laptop, Toshiba A200-244 and next to it came a recovery disk pre loaded beside Windows Vista Home Premium.

What I want to know is, I am upgrading my Compaq SR1705UK Desktop computer with a fresh 7200.9 Seagate Barracuda 250GB Hard Drive and this RAM: http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/mpartspecs.aspx?mtbpoid=FDB2F9D3A5CA7304. Will this RAM work next to my system and can I use the Recovery Disk that came beside my laptop to put Home Premium on my Fresh Compaq?

Thanks very much within advance.

The motherboard supports the following :

Unbuffered non-ECC 400/533 MHZ DDR2 memory modules
Maximum HP/Compaq approved memory is 2 GB

-> you should use DDR2 PC2-4200 instead of DDR2 PC2-5300 Source(s): http://overnight.110mb.com
the strike should work but the recovery cd will not work they are model specific
