However the bright hd does not have an OS loaded at adjectives ! I haven't made any recovery disks so i cant reinstall vista or XP. HP has said that it will cost $100 to decree the recovery disk and it will take 3 weeks. Well,

If you still have the vista disc and serial number on the certificate of authenticity usually on the cd shield or the computer, then you can use it on solitary one computer at a time.

If you still have the XP serial, a moment ago download the disk from www.warez-bb.org

As long as your using your own CD code and not a crack, later its legal
So you hold HP replaced the hard disk of your HP laptop? Is it still within warranty? If it is, you should still get the easier said than done disk pre-formatted with XP and adjectives the drivers intact. Ask your HP or your vendor for it.
