System recovery disks dont detect the rugged drive?
I've have have a load of problems beside my computer, everything from surface errors to missing bootmgr so decided to wipe the intricate drive using Paragon Ultimate boot disk, then re-format, when i run the vista cd after reformatting its coming up at the point it asks "where on earth do you want to install Windows" the name shows "Disk 0 Unallocated space" the Total size is 465.8GB and the Free space 465.8GB. which is fine....I own 2 x 250GB Sata Raid Hard Drives, when I try and install Vista on the Disk 0 Unallocated space it comes up with " Windows is powerless to find a system volume that meets its criteria for installation" tried to install the attack drivers from the Sony original installation for my fashion of computer but it;s not recognized ? also the recovery disks dont come across to work windows cant find the sata drivers on them ? Pretty much stuck at this point ! Any back would be very much appreciated.

I deliberate the problem is the raid setup. Uninstall (physically) one the the knotty drives and try the install again. Vista supports all the sata drives I've installed and individually I think a mugging setup is not giving you what you need. I'll explain my reasoning. You state "I've have a lot of problems" capably if you set up the extra drive as a backup instead of raid you would be capable of restore the whole system from that.
You screw a robbery system all you own got is another drive full of one and the same corrupted data.
