How can i choose what i want on the Recovery Disk?

i Have a sony vaio laptop and i need to a support up disk,with just my pictures and my music is there away i can do that?

Just burn your music and picture to DVDs/CDs. A recovery disk is not to recover files, it is to "reset" your computer to what is on the disk in luggage something bad go wrong and your computer has become unstable do to virus, owner error, OS corrupted file, etc.. Source(s): Computer Specialist
