Recovery disks near vista?
what is the process of using 2 recovery disks for vista on my acer aspire desktop. best buy wants $130.00, they charged $40.00 to get the disks!
Answers:
Insert the first of the two disks. Turn off the computer. Start it up again, but you entail to get into the "boot options" menu. A peak should come up shortly after starting up, and tell you what knob to press. There's usually two options: BIOS Setup and Boot Options (or something similar to that). The keys used ebb and flow by computer, so I can't tell you exactly which switch it will be, but common key for this are F10, ESC, or even ENTER.
Anyhow, once you're in the Boot Options blind, use the arrow keys and enter switch to get into the Boot From... schedule (sometimes called Boot Device, or Startup Device). When you enjoy CD-ROM highlighted, hit ENTER to boot from the disk.
Then you should just be capable of follow the on-screen instructions from there. There's no entail to pay for it to be done. Especially that much money. If you enjoy trouble figuring it out, you probably know somebody who could show you how to do it.
you should bring them free from Acer.
