If at hand is a problem next to my tricky disk or master boot journal, will a full laptop recovery fix it?

My computer will not turn on at times and I have to play near it to get it to turn on. I did a full recovery but it is still not turning on when it is supposed to.

Sounds close to a part of your computer is physically broken. What does it do exactly? If it simply doesn't do anything when you press the power on button, check if the power cord and connectors are loose. You'll probably have to nick it for repairs or get a spanking new one...
