Where can i draw from a brand new hp recovery disk?
I have an hp pavilion v6000. & i lost the disk that come with it. Can I grasp one from best buy or circuit city? How much??

I have in reality went through this just this minute myself. There are a couple different options. You can any order them from HP or you can burn them from a computer (probably not an option). This website have all the information from HP.

IF your computer is still underneath warranty you should have no problems getting a free replacement from HP. But if the warranty run out it will cost you.
I just get through asking a similar question.A human being on here gave me the interconnect & I just finish order my recovery disks online from hp.The site will show u how to get the right recovery disk from hp for your laptop or computer of late follow directions.Or you can call resembling the person above said.

I would recommend you contact HP, especially if you registered your purchase beside them. They will be able to provide you near a recovery disk for your system.
If you are going to purchase a disk then you should purchase the window xp professional cd and not some halfbaked recovery cd.

Contact HP (a) 1-8OO-952-7689 and *be sure* you recompense the extra $15 for express (overnight, whatever) delivery. I took the cheap bearing out to save $$ and it took give or take a few seven ----ing weeks to get by regular transference. I think my recovery disks cost $15 and w/ express distribution it would have be $30 (US).
* Computer was bought used and be out of warranty.
