I own a set of HP pavilion recovery disks for my desk top. Will they work on an HP laptop?

Answers:
No.
Nope.
Most recovery disks check the hardware before they install.
If its a different workstation, it just wont move about.
Remember that recovery disks are system specific for whatever computer that uses them. In some defence with simlar brands the disks may almost work. Don't bring risks. Call support . Many new laptops enjoy a drive partition to recovery the system.
You must know your system on your computer. Don't use recovery disks short recommendation because configurations and drivers are use that may not be incompatiable.
