Reloaded xp from recovery disk. presently just operate from guest user. Where are my files docs etc.Partition?
My user site has dissapeared.I hope it is lurking bringing up the rear a partition? Is on the guest user and when I try to switch here is nothing here. Where could it be? Has it been delete? Backked up somewhere.

If you did a destructive recovery then you enjoy lost your personal files. (ex. tapping the f10 button on your baby grand when restarting.) You can change user accounts within the control panel. There you can switch from guest, and administrator. Also, create new log on's.
As far as your lost information you can try a program like undelete plus. I use it some times if I accidently delete something considerable. (I don't know if this will help on a destructive recovery though.)
try penetrating for it at "my pc"
above the hard drive you should see several folders
if you see a folder dictum "Documents of ***"
***= your old user given name
then adjectives your files are in here
