When the screen turns black and say enter system recovery disk, i put it in and it seem to work. not soon after a message saying "within seems to be a problem near RAID volume 0, would you like to fix"? I click yes but after roughly speaking 2 minutes it says "problem could not be fixed, system is restarting". i tryed again and again so far nought has worked. HELP!
"> From the Wikipedia relation on RAID:
"Provides improved operation and additional storage but no failure tolerance. Any disk failure destroys the array, which become more likely beside more disks in the array. A single disk disaster destroys the entire array because when data is written to a RAID 0 drive, the background is broken into fragments."
Unless you backed up your background, I fear you may be out of luck. RAID 0 doesn't really tender fault tolerance. If the denounce is a result of the RAID configuration becoming corrupt, you might be able to re-enable the configuration, but it may not be a simple fix.
Are you using hardware or software RAID? Source(s): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAID#Standa…
