Computor states low disk space on recovery D, how do i expand this, the harddrive is 80 gb but D have 7.68?

D has 7.68 gb of total space but 3.61 are one and only left and my computor keep flashing low disk space and it just aggreviate the crap out of me>>>>> relieve me fix please

Assuming you have Vista (thus drive D:\) right click on My Computer and hit handle...
Then do Disk Management, and from there you can shrink, expand, and engender new partition.
To expand D:\, first defragment your system (Start -> Accessories -> System tools -> defragmenter) then right click C:\ and click shrink. Shrink the drive how ever much you want (be sure to set out enough space for swap) and later when that's done, right click D:\ and click expand. Expand that how ever much you can and you're done.

Compress the D
