Vista Recovery Disk?
I just purchased an Acer Aspire 7520. It comes lacking recovery disk. How do I make a vista recovery disk? I am aware of the special screen that has a copy of the OS, but this will be of no use if I have a HD crash. I tried to follow the answer by sweetbytch24 posted here, but there is no laptop help within all programs as suggested.
Help please

do what Zephyr have said , thats the way to do it, BUT SOMETHING YOU SHOULD KNOW, aser have had some problems beside there reloading of window from the reload disks that you are going to make , not adjectives aser products have this problem but theres a few that did. what happen is when you need to use them to reload window, they will fail and bequeath you a error saying that they couldn't finish reloading window, now remember not adjectives acer's had that problem but some did. thats why i use norton's phantom it has never ruined to reload windows on any of my computers. i use it to spawn a complete backup image on a external HD attached to my gridiron, all i own to do is insert my norton's startup disk in any of my computers and give an account it to restore my computer. you can have it restore it subsidise to the way it be when you bought the computer, or have it set up to restore it to the ending time you backed up, which will still hold all your programs installed on it. something else if you want you can stir on to acer and buy your reload disk from them, its cheap, and them never fail to reload window back to factory specs
There should be instructions contained by the manual nearly how to burn your own discs. You do it under Control Panel somewhere. It can lift up to 14 (yes, 14!) CD-Rs or 4 CD-DVDs.
Start > All Programs > Recovery Manager > Recovery Manager. Then go to Advanced Options > Recovery Disc Creation.
