Just get a laptop, no recovery disk?
Are they suppose to come with one or not? It's suppose to be brand new(from Wal Mart) and it doesn't hold the disk. I didn't want to turn it on without making sure if it be suppose to come with one or not. I hear nowadays laptops don't. Are laptops suppose to come near a recovery disk or not?
Answers:
Only some companies offer recovery discs and other companies don't. Sometimes it's free and sometimes you own to pay to receive a recovery disc. It is not uncommon to find a laptop in need a recovery disc. Don't panic, if you didn't get hold of a recovery disc you can just restore the computer to factory settings if things progress wrong.
Laptops that cost a bit over $700 will usually get around 250-320GB of not easy drive space depending on the brand and other hardware.
I bought a laptop not too long ago from walmart and it didn't have a recovery disk, a friend of mine work at our walmart and said your supposed to label your own. so yea I didn't and now I'm suffering, so shift ahead and make your backbone up disks.
