Dell laptop recovery disks?

i have a dell laptop next to an error can't get it to nouns into windows i don't enjoy recovery disks and dell has no recovery disks any do sombody know of place i can recovery disks my laptop is a dell latitude c600 ......... it originaly came next to windows 2000 but upgraded to xp pro but that doesen't business
one more article if i cant find recovery disks my i be able to use recovery disk from a desktop computer its a dell window xp
