Need aid next to HP pavilion 551w desktop notebook.. recovery disk have need of.. Windows XP relieve?
computer won't go to window at all. It won't jump past the setup describing me to push f1 or either go to invalid system disk. I can go into setup but no further afterwards invalid system disk put disk in and push any button. My press is I have found a site that have a recovery disk for the model that I have and it say key code is required, which I found on the side of the laptop. I have no disc and it was window xp. I've tried recovery disk, even tried loading windows 98 but something going on for 98 doesn't know about SATA. I'm wondering will this 2 disk disc for windows xp work and does it hold the cmo and setup that i need for it? Wanted to check and see if I could win info before I ordered it. A investigational computer is not an option. Probably would be if I have the money and if we had the money, if you can still buy one next to windows XP. $42 sounds variety of better than $400. or better.
