Can I download a Toshiba Recovery Disk?
I removed Vista and installed xp on my laptop. I found out later that they never give me a recovery disk for vista. Can someone help please? My laptop model is Satellite Pro A300. Thanks!

I'd articulate no. But it's possible that if you ring Toshiba and explain the circumstances then they may know how to supply you with another disk.
Laptops don't come next to recovery disc anymore. You have to build them when you first get your laptop or at some point after you hold added other programs to your laptop. The problem you are having is that XP doesn't own all the drivers that you inevitability for your laptop. The support for XP has almost gone away. Try the toshiba website they may hold the XP drivers that you need or try the creation of devices that you need to work i.e. video card, exchange cards card, sound card etc. See if Toshiba will distribute you the Vista disc for your brand of laptop.
