Can i do a Windows XP Recovery short the disk?

My computer screen go black today and when i restarted it i got a message axiom.. "WINDOWS COULD NOT START BECAUSE THE FOLLOWING FILE IS MISSING OR CORRUPT = windows\system32\config\system".. ive read on other sites that i just inevitability to insert the recovery disk and follow the prompt but i can't find that disk. Is there any process to fix this without it?
powerfully ( i know this is probably illegal) but if you could get a someone to mirror within hard drive next you would have everything. but your bud would particularly want to get adjectives his stuff off ur tough drive after he mirrored it. give that a shot. if that doesn't work for ya i suggest any getting a new computer or going and buying vista (and btw i don't back up you doing any illegal actions)
Since you can't find the CD/disk, ask the capitalist of your computer to supply one for you. (Many will do this free of charge if you ask them for the original disks/CDs that come with your computer.)
"> No. Unfortunately the disk is a necessity.
