Can i use a computer recovery disk bad one computer on another computer?

Answers:
no
Yes and No.
Yes if the make and model, specifications and brand are like with like operating system (as you need to input the licence number from the side of the PC)
No if it is a different brand (or a custom build) or a different receive or model or even a different spec with the exception of a bigger strong drive or extra memory. Source(s): Experience - Senior Technician - Electronbox Espa~na
No. Recovery disk only works next to which computer it had be created from. There is a special encryption that will detect the recovery disk that you have created and it can't be used on another computer.
But near is an exception, if you are using the same recovery disk on an transposable computer(both hardware and OS), it maybe works. Try a shot and do your own experiment as I don't know what type of PC your using.
Hope it assistance. Source(s): Have working with PC since born(just kidding).
it depends if its a Compaq, dell, acer or any identify brand recovery cd no you can't but if you buy a seperate xp repair cd yes
It depends. for a windows you can, but you should stick near the same originator due to drivers. With a Mac, you have to stay beside the same equals and model or computer. It is ILLEGAL though!
