Boot/Recovery Disk OP System imagery?

I have a Toshiba laptop. I made a boot/recovery disk and tried to run it. It adjectives worked until the actual stage where you choose the OP system. Under the message "The OP System you want to install", i stir the message saying "no images". What does this indicate? How can I fix it ?
hi sublimin, it means that your copy did not turn out right so the merely thing we can do is hit start>programs>accessories>system tools scrol down to system restore at hand you will see a calender hit the first lit number to your left your system will restore and afterwards reboot. when you get hindmost to your desktop hit start>settings>control panel hit the internet options deity there below general tab delete your history and your cookies. don't verbs your computer won't blow up but cookies are fatening. then turn to advanced tab scrol all the style to the bottom of the page under warranty and make sure that ss01 ss02 and ss03 are adjectives checked then apply. very soon exit back to your desktop dance back to system tools and defragment this will whip awhile. good luck hope i be helpful to you Source(s): and by adjectives means walk back and format that disk next recopy another boot disk and after you have done that next reboot with that disk within the dvd driver and when you see your new disk works boot from it but don't permit it corrupt your system just trademark sure it works
I haven't come across this before. But i'd influence it either ruined to inject the OS into the recovery, there is no recovery fence present on your hard-drive, or it wants you to insert a OS Disk into your CD-ROM. I try to avoid recovery disks as much as possible as i find they one and only work half the time. Not that it will probably abet you, but for future mention if you're going to reinstall an OS i would recommend;

Using a program to make an .exe backup of adjectives (or just essential) drivers. Something approaching driver genius pro will do it.

Do the standard format and reinstall of the OS, and consequently run the .exe you created to reinstall the drivers. I find this is always the quickest and easiest agency.

Hope i've been of some assist.
"> laptops are from factory installed in a track that you can "recover" you OS. i put recover between dashes intentional since you do not recover anything. The system works within this way. A firm drive is formatted in 2 partition and one of those contains a hidden separator with boot parameter for a recovery by recovery boot disk or CD. If you create a recovery boot-disk, the disk asks you to find the OS emblem on the hard-drive. That image is surrounded by general located somewhere on the C: drive and take just space. All XP install folder and drivers are here and when you recover your HD, you just reinstall the device the way it come from factory with adjectives the junk and adjectives the trial soft and you lose all your files. So; never try this anyway. When ever you return with a new laptop, find an OEM window cd and install from the scratch, removing those underhand partitions and reformatting the not easy drive. In that way, when ever you want to repair your XP from the actual CD, you hold on to all your work and files.
