What des a application and driver recovery disk do?

i found it in a out-of-date box and wonderd what it does

The application disc have the original software that come on your machine when you get it so if you lost it you can put it back on it. Driver disc is used to put the drivers subsidise on if you would re-install windows you would obligation to put the drivers back on so it would operate properly.
