How do I use a recovery disk?

I bought a laptop from circuit city recently, within october, and they made me a backup disk, well 3 of them. How exactly do I receive them to actually restore everything.

The motivation I am doing this is because I have a built contained by webcam, and it isn't working anymore. I was wondering if this would restore my built within webcam, since they webcam was competent and working before they made the backup disks. Thanks.

Option 1:
1. Go to Help & support surrounded by the start menu.
2. Select maintenance after restore.
3. Select the option of choose a different restore points.

good you own the cds but do not uses them unless you want to restore windows,,, significance formatting your hard drive. to fix that problem in recent times type device manager on the start handrail, find a yellow cross-examine mark, double click and update or rollback the driver... that should fix it...
