I run my operating system's recovery disk and immediately I can't connect to to the internet?

All I see is the LAN/local area nouns icon at the bottom of my blind but not the wireless network nouns icon. Do I own to re-install something from my backup folder that was created during recovery/restoration? What would it be? Where is it? Help!! I supplicate you not to suggest downloading something from the internet lol. Please help!
Answers:
if u hold window consequently go to control panel> Network connections> later it sholud say wireless afterwards right click on that then click repair. or mayb ur lan is turned sour. Source(s): good near computers
Look in Start menu / Control Panel / System / Hardware / Device Manager and see if any problems are showing - any devices stopped properly. One of them might be your wireless network card.

I know it nouns silly but make sure your wireless is turned on! Some laptops own a switch somewhere on them; some use the Fn key plus one of the number key - look for a picture of a wireless antenna.

If you go into the Network Connections settings as the other answer suggested, do you see a Wireless Connection statue there? If not you may necessitate to re-install the drivers for your laptop's wireless card. Sorry to say, but you may have need of to download the correct driver!
