I call for to reformat my PC, but i don't own a window disk or a recovery cd?

i bought it from my friends dad, which had bought it from a institution, so i don't have a recovery disk or window cd, how do i reformat and get my OS pay for on my PC

Most schools buy oem systems so you should own a restore partition, reboot and press the F11 push button, that should get you into the system recovery phase. If it requires the cd then you hold a problem, just buy a copy of window xp home for 90 bucks. Source(s): HTH
