How do you delete Windows 98 from a Pentium II lacking the recovery disk? Please lend a hand!?
I need to delete Windows 98 from my computer and I dont hold the recovery disk, how can I do this? Please does anyone have any planning or a serious solution?

you can buy the upgrade to windows xp....it will transport care of it....but if you ever have need of to reinstall xp because of a virus or something then i give attention to you'd need the win 98 disc to install it again the reinstall the upgrade
Format your complicated drive
You want to delete windoze?> ok fine go to the cooperation below, download disk to a floppy, with it still within drive shut down your pc.
Restart and floppy will bear control of your pc

Why are you trying to remove Windows 98? Planning to upgrade to XP? If so, don't bother witht the Windows XP upgrade, thats a trick. Get a full install, then boot sour the CD. Format the separator that Windows 98 is on, and your all set.
Other than that if you be planning to do anything else with of late a formatted HDD, I don't think you would be asking that query as it's a pretty basic article.
update to the next window try windows xp home .. put surrounded by the windows xp home cd within to your pc and install follow on the peak
that way window 98 is gone and you have window xp home
Make a boot disk (floppy) and put the format command on there. Boot from that disk next you can format the HD.
