Had a bleak virus, used my system recovery and update cd-rom disk to clear, computer o.k; enjoy lost adjectives nouns?

Answers:
make sure your nouns card drivers are still installed correctly
i think the virus is still in that and if not, your nouns driver might be the one infected and had be removed.try to reinstall your sound card driver.
I don`t know you need to check for alien hardware. I don't know what system your running but in mine (windows ME) i shift to start> settings> control panel> add exotic hardware> and see if it detects the speakers and then it will most promising install them.
if that doesn't work, if you kept the cd for the speakers (assuming you had one) try to put that surrounded by to reinstall them.
other than that, I really wouldn't know what to do, perchance call a local computer repair shop and ask them for suggestions? your nouns drivers may be shot.
so in other words instead of removing the virus you've imbedded it and lost your nouns drivers in the process you probably hold a drivers disc find it and reinstall the sound drivers
Are you sure you purely haven't gone deaf?
based on what you asked is it not dangerous to assume you didnt do a virus scan and clean it from here?
that would be the first priority otherwise its still there.
as for the nouns? perhaps the driver or profile got corrupted and wishes fixing maybe reinstalled
Your nouns drivers aren't installed. Download the latest drivers for your nouns card. You can verify this by going into device manager and looking for the interrogate marks.
