I enjoy obtain my brothers ex workstation. If I use the recovery disk to wipe everything, will i lose window as all right?
It 's a packard bell and i want to strip it back to how he brought it 18 months ago near XP pre installed. Any help?

what i normally do is run sour a disc(cd or dvd) with adjectives the nessecary drivers and security software on it,so when im doing a fresh window installation like yourself i hold all the software and drivers i requirement to hand so i am not looking for that driver that i concluding saw about 2 years ago

If it is a recovery disk, it should bring it back to how it be 18 months ago. I recovered my computer several times using software and it didn't remove my OS.

If you are wonting to wipe it completly you own to go into a comand prompt and format. But i meditate your best bet is going into control panel, add / remove programmes nad consequently just delete the programmes you dont want. Obviously after this you will enjoy to delete files as well but look out if you do that because you dont want to delete system files.
