How do you create a recovery disk on/for window xp?

there isn't really a "recovery disk" for XP, you enjoy other options such as the repair facet on your install disk or the restore option inside windows but I would recommend Norton Ghost as the most widely used and adjectives program for restoring a system

Odds are your PC came next to a recovery disc, a CD next to all the programs and drivers that be installed on its hard drive when it be new. The probability are also that you have without doubt no idea where on earth that disc is.
The good communication is that it probably doesn't matter. First, the recovery discs provided by most PC manufacturer are designed for a single purpose: to restore your computer to the state it was surrounded by when you bought it. This process typically involves wiping your not easy drive clean and later reinstalling Microsoft Windows and the handful of programs originally included with your PC. Unless you're preparing the in one piece kit and caboodle to flog on eBay, this is probably not something you'll ever need.
Second, the hardware drivers on your recovery disc are probably out of date, any made obsolete by newer and better version available online, or simply irrelevant because of new hardware you've installed.
So, instead of fretting nearly the old recovery compact disc, why not take a few minutes and spawn one of your own?
