Buying an XP Recovery Disk?
I heard from a moderately competant friend of mine who told me that if you own the serial number from a copy of XP, like on one of those window stickers that are plastered to a store bought computer, somebody can make you a restore disk. The point I want a restore disc is because I have two computers that are running unliscenced copies of XP and because of this they both run into big problems. Don't put in the picture me to deal beside it because the problems that I speak of are where you start up your computer and it won't catch past the "Windows is loading your personal settings" eyeshade because of some wierd password problem that I can't bypass. When that happens I own to crash the OS and start from scratch again. Does anyone know such a place that make recovery disks from a legit serial number?
