My eMachine did not come beside a Windows XP recovery disk... Was it supposed to?
I hear lots of people bring up to date me that in instruct to get my computer wager on to a close to brand new state, I entail to clean out my thorny drive and then reinstall XP from the XP recovery disk. Well my computer did not come next to a recovery disk or any kind of disk. What do i do? Is in attendance any way to seize a recovery disk? Does it have to be purchased or is within a way that I can carry it free? If it has to be purchased, how much will it cost? If it can be free, where on earth can I get it at free? Please don't afford me any kind of virus-y websites. =] thank you

Yes, but you will lose adjectives your information on your current hard drive. You can try contacting Emachines to see if they will distribute you a recovery disk. Windows XP I think is around $100 - possibly ~$150 a bit more for the professional edition. There is no decriminalized way to achieve it for free.
You can check with the businessman for a recovery disk. They may charge you a small fee for it. In the adjectives, when you purchase a new PC - other ask for the recovery CD and the software CD's for the computer. You will grasp them free, but you must ASK for them when you purchase the PC. My sister had to contact the mfg of her PC for them and they charged her $12.00 to transport them out to her.

Your computer may have whats call a restore partition. In other words, the installation software is already on the unyielding drive. You probably need to press one of the function key when the computer starts to boot to get to it. It may be the f10 or f12 push button. There also may be whats called a destructive and non destructive restore picking. The non destructive will allow you to keep any files that you created after you purchased it. The destructive sets it up as it be brand new. If you choose the destructive, get sure you burn any files (music, video, etc) to a disk so you wont lose them
Not gonna tell you where on earth to get it for free. You wouldn't know how to use it anyway. Just buy one, they are everywhere and shouldn't cost you too much.
