all programs->accesseses->system tools->system restore
it wont restore it but it will lift it back to the date you want it to be
The recovery disk will re-install window, but be careful- it will also delete everything you have on your computer- adjectives your pictures, music, documents, etc and put the computer back duplicate was as it be when it was modern and was taken out of the box.

don't do it, use the restore barrier on the system...
sorry, i guess it's the same cross-question from another user.
there should be a recovery dividing wall on the drive accessed by f11 or alt+f11 or some such keystroke posted at startup. whne you use this, it will re-install window after re-formatting the drive, if you choose, or re-install safely departure the file system surrounded by tact so as to not loose data. but consequently you have an extra window folder...
additionally, a recovery will store all the problems you're have now and re-install as it is in a minute, so it's pointless. you're supposed to make those when it's fully installed and working correctly.
