100 mb complicated disk space allocated for window recovery...?

I've got AMD Phenom 9650 Quad Core 2.30GHz. 8 GB RAM. WD 1TB HDD. Installed Windows 7 RC 1.
Now it have kept initial 100Mb for some windows recovery or recovery console. Now the the problem near that is whenever I'm trying to install Server 2008 or Vista 64bit its out of action because its not able to unpack the files and run the installation. Is in attendance a way that i don't want to jump for that recovery option or can i step ahead and increase the space from 100 mb to 1-10 GB ?

You had better use something similar to GPARTED to make sure you don't loose anything. I would suggest you defrag the tough disk first and then run CHKDSK on the entire knotty disk before establishing any exotic partitions.
WARNING! The VISTA bootloader will WIPE OUT ANY OTHER BOOTLOADERS, including the XP bootloader. So you have better look into that before you attempt to nouns Vista. There are plenty of HOW TO articles on the net to detail you how to fix this problem, but generally, you want VISTA on the computer first back installing XP since the bootloader in Vista no longer resides surrounded by an ini config file.
