How can i uninstall widow 2000 anan can i install pane xp using the recovery disks?

Answers:
If you have some XP recovery disks, they HAD to come from SOME where on earth - which computer were the XP recovery disks created from? That's where on earth you need to get going.

But I doubt seriously the recovery disks will do you any good if you don't enjoy the XP installation CD available.

Other than that, I really don't know WHAT to notify you. Recovery disks restore the hard drive AFTER you reinstall the OS, if I'm not mistaken.
1. You can't "uninstall" an operating system. the best you can do (like when you're giving the computer away) is to format the drive.

2. You can't install an operating system beside recovery disks - they recover an installed system, they don't install it.

(3. you can't even use the other computer's installation disks - an operating system can only be alive on one computer or the other, not on both.)
Make sure your computer is set to boot from cd go and evolution it in bios look it up if your not sure how to do it after boot from your xp o/s disk and follow all instructions to delete and reformat and install your XP o/s,upright luck!
boot the xp cd and delete the partition press D, consequently press C, this will format the hdd and install xp on the entire hdd
